Induction

An induction plan should look to ensure the effective integration of employees into or across the organisation for the benefit of both parties.

This allows for the smooth the introduction during the preliminary stages of employment, the new employee gains a good understanding of their role and responsibilities therefore ensuring an effective output as soon as possible.

A good induction plan will involve the HR department, Line Management, Specialists within the organisation and Senior Managers.

Traditionally induction commences from day one of employment, however a more proactive and engaging approach is to start the induction process once the individual accepts the job on offer.  You can then continue to link in with them whilst they work their notice period and continue to promote the new role, team and Company.
