Workplace Law preferred supplier for Land Securities

Workplace Law has been appointed as a preferred supplier for the provision of CDM Coordinator services for leading property company, Land Securities – a role that involves working as part of a project team to deliver a number of major refurbishment projects across Land Securities’ London Portfolio.

Workplace Law's approach to health and safety is a strong common ground for the two organisations and a major factor in this appointment. Land Securities, which owns, develops and manages offices, shopping centres and retail parks throughout the UK, is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all its stakeholders.

Simon Toseland, Head of Health and Safety at Workplace Law, comments:

“At Workplace Law we go beyond the standard function of the CDM Coordinator. We take a proactive approach in order to reduce accidents on construction projects, which can have both direct and indirect costs that frequently exceed any profit margin.  We are delighted to be given this opportunity by Land Securities and look forward to a long and successful working relationship.”

Clive Johnson, Head of Health and Safety at Land Securities, comments:

“We were looking for a CDM-C who can be involved in the early stages of each of our construction projects so that they have input throughout the design and construction phases. Upon completion we need to know that the CDM-C has added value to the project and appointing Workplace Law has helped us achieve this.”
