Workplace Law to take part in the Hero Ride

Over the past few years, the Workplace Law team has taken on various cycling challenges. We've entered the London to Cambridge bike ride for the last three years, and, in 2012, our Managing Director, David Sharp, cycled 1,140 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats.

In the process we have raised over £15,000 for our chosen charity, Exhall Grange Specialist School and Science College.

In 2013 we are supporting two more charities alongside Exhall Grange - Action Medical Research and Help for Heroes. To raise money for the latter, we will also be taking on a new challenge this year and have entered the Hero Ride, which takes place on Sunday 2 June 2013.

The event sees cyclists from all corners of the country meet at Blackheath in London, where they will ride together in support of servicemen, women and veterans. The mass ride will see thousands of people on the streets of London and will pass through some of our country’s most iconic landmarks, such as the Cenotaph, Buckingham Palace and The Mall.

The Workplace Law team will be setting off from our main office in Cambridge on Sunday morning, cycling approximately 60 miles down to the meeting point in London, collecting team members along the way, before joining the staged mass ride of 10 miles into Central London.

As ever, we’d love for our customers, partners and friends to join us on this marvellous challenge. If you are interested in becoming part of the team and raising money for Help for Heroes or want to find out more then please email.

More details of our involvement, including our fundraising, will be released shortly.
