Some information which we request, such as user preferences, is entirely optional, although providing us with this information will allow us to provide you with a better service.
Following registration you may receive emails from us in relation to our newsletters, products and services. Users have the ability to select what they do and don’t receive by changing options on their profile. You are always free to unsubscribe from any of our communication lists at any point.
Regular newsletters are sent daily and weekly depending on which options you have selected. Promotional emails are sent on a weekly basis and from time to time you may receive more than one promotional email in a week.

Visitors to the Site
As a visitor you can access some parts of the Site without the need to register. However, as part of our standard monitoring procedures and in common with the vast majority of commercial websites, we are able to access some information from some visitors. This is mostly incomplete information and (except in very rare circumstances) would not allow us to identify the visitor. This information is not stored, but total numbers are aggregated in order for us to identify traffic levels and visitors' general preferences towards the Site's features.
Members, Information Centre Subscribers and Support Clients
To fully use our services as a Member, Information Centre Subscriber or Support Client, you will need to register using our Online Registration Form, where you will be required to provide us with your contact information (including email address), some other information relating to your organisation and preferences which denote your interests applicable to the areas with which we provide services and information.
Information which is required to become a member of the International Workplace Site includes name, job title, company name and address, email address, and telephone number.
You can amend any personal information in your personal profile at any time.
Use of your information
We use the information you provide to manage the service, contact you and serve personalised content.
We automatically track certain information about you based upon your behaviour on our site. We use this information to assist with internal research on our users' demographics, interests and behaviour to better understand and serve our members.

Forums and personal messaging
Any personal details and/or information which you make available to other users whilst using the forum area of the site are given at your own risk, although we do monitor all threads and endeavour to remove anything which may cause offence or is potentially dangerous. International Workplace is not responsible for any personally identifiable information which you provide in the forum. Similarly, using the private messaging function to enter into conversations with other users is also at your own risk.
You can purchase goods and services on the site by making payments online. We use a third party supplier to process online payments, which are transacted on a secure server using SSL (secure sockets layer). The company we use is WorldPay, one of the world's largest and most highly renowned e-commerce transaction and payment companies.
When you purchase goods or services from us online, you are transferred to WorldPay's secure server environment where the whole transaction is processed. You will be informed that you are entering a secure environment (demonstrated by the padlock symbol) and the url will change to https://... on WorldPay's secure server.
If we process an online credit card transaction on your behalf, the personal credit or debit card information you provide us with is only used for the purpose of processing that transaction, and is not stored on our system.
At no time during the online payment process are we provided with your personal credit or debit card information, which is processed and encrypted completely by WorldPay. Neither International Workplace nor internationalworkplace.com store sensitive financial information on customer purchases, nor is it at any time made available to us.
