New RIDDOR regulations from 1 October 2013

    It has been revealed that from 1 October 2013, subject to Parliamentary review, the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences (RIDDOR) Regulations 2013 will replace existing RIDDOR legislation in this area.

    It has also been announced that online guidance is currently being produced, which will explain the new requirements, and provide examples of what does and does not require reporting. A quickstart guide to the new regulations is expected to be available to download in July 2013.
