Are you the next RICS FM case study?

Over the past few years, International Workplace has worked with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors to create five series of strategic FM case studies, focusing on the great work that the FM sector does.

The next of these hugely successful series of case studies, focusing on the impact and value that FM has, will be on the role and application of technology.

New technological trends are emerging across all sectors of the property industry: co-working is disrupting the office space sector, co-living offers new alternatives in residential real estate, crowdfunding is reshaping new construction and real estate investing, and home swapping is growing increasingly popular for seasonal rentals.

Unprecedented urbanisation, changing demographics and the rise of new economic powers are among the trends reshaping the world in which we live and work. New business models, innovative work dynamics, greater connectivity and technological advances mean that we need new skills and different ways of working.

It is clear we are undergoing a technological revolution and the pace of change is accelerating. This change is driving demand for key data analytics and related skills for existing professionals.

Following research undertaken by RICS in 2017 on the proptech revolution, we are now seeking case studies from across the industry, to highlight how technology is changing the global world of FM and real estate. As the latest in RICS’ informative Strategic FM case studies, the use cases will demonstrate practical ways in which proptech is being used to facilitate better ways of working.

If you have a case study that you would like to put forward for consideration please contact us.
