Armed Forces ELC Scheme approval for Workplace Law Training

Workplace Law Training won Approved Learning Provider status this week for the Armed Forces Enhanced Learning Credits (ELC) Scheme. The scheme is an initiative by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. It also provides financial support for service leavers who are looking for a new career once they have left the Armed Forces.

Under the ELC Scheme, Workplace Law will be able to offer the NEBOSH National General Certificate – via classroom, blended and e-learning – which will qualify for funding from the MoD. The application for the ELC Scheme followed several enquiries to Workplace Law from members of the Armed Forces for health and safety training.

Marketing Director, Ben Daft, commented:

“We are extremely proud to have won approval for the ELC Scheme. We have run our NEBOSH courses for several years and are committed to providing the highest standard of training available in the UK. The ELC Scheme allows us to reach even more potential students and we are delighted to be able to help current and ex-service men and women to enhance their health and safety knowledge and practical skills.”
