Fire safety and corporate responsibility: can we help you?

We have over 20 years’ experience in advising organisations, directors and managers on their legal responsibilities for health and safety, environmental management, and employment law.

Our team of highly qualified health and safety and fire safety consultants can advise you in confidence on the robustness of your current health and safety arrangements, to help identify and address any potential weaknesses.

Specifically, where fire safety support services are concerned, we have a team of associate fire safety consultants who have worked in both operational and commercial training roles within the UK fire service and who regularly advise our client base of businesses, educational establishments and public sector organisations, including conducting fire risk assessments (FRAs) across their real estate.

We provide training that can be tailored specifically to meet your needs. In many cases, that means briefing the CEO and senior management team in an informal setting, to share an understanding of corporate health and safety responsibility and penalties for failure to discharge their responsibilities.

In other cases, that might mean us delivering an IOSH-approved course on Safety for Senior Executives, usually run on your premises over a 4-6 hour period, including an update on the Corporate Manslaughter Act 2007. All participants successfully completing a short assessment receive a certificate issued by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.

We also deliver the NEBOSH National Cerificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management, taught at our Executive Centre in London, which is ideal for managers with operational responsibility for fire safety.

And we produce introductory level IOSH-approved short courses in eLearning, a cost-effective and ideal way to brief front-line staff, managers and supervisors on their responsibilities for fire safety.
