International Workplace makes senior appointments

Learning and development specialist International Workplace – formerly known as Workplace Law – has announced a number of senior appointments ahead of its official brand launch on 30 October.

Tracy Roden has joined the company as its first full-time Finance Director. A Chartered Management Accountant, Roden gained experience in practice before a number of roles in the banking sector, progressing to become Head of Finance Business Systems at Birmingham Midshires. She joins from the education sector, where she was Director of Business and Resources at St Ivo School in Cambridgeshire.

Current Head of Human Resources Suzanne McMinn is promoted to HR Director. Along with Roden, she joins David Sharp and Ben Daft on the company’s Executive Board.

Ian Cooke joins as Programme Manager, responsible for the company’s environmental, health & safety and facilities management (EHS & FM) operations. Formerly Accreditation Advisor at health and safety examination board NEBOSH, Cooke takes responsibility for quality assurance and will expand the company’s accredited training into international markets.

Alistair Broom joins as Enterprise Solutions Manager, responsible for developing the company’s IT infrastructure and technology solutions, and with a remit to enhance its information management systems to ISO 27001 standard. Broom joins from Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where he was Deputy Head of IT.

International Workplace has also confirmed the location of the company’s first office in South-East Asia. Chris Bottomley will start work in Bangkok in December, where he will liaise with local partners to expand its offering in the region.
