New CDM Guidance Note for FMs launched
International Workplace has teamed up with the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) to produce a new Guidance Note on the updated CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations 2015, which was launched recently at an exclusive event in London.
In addition to the launch of the new CDM Guidance Note, which has been produced by International Workplace’s Health and Safety expert, Tony Booth, speakers discussed how the recent changes to the regulations will impact FMs directly in new construction projects. The talk also focused on the importance for FMs in ensuring they are able to demonstrate the relevant skills, knowledge and experience to carry out such work whilst maintaining health and safety compliance.
The event also provided an update on the new COMAH regulations as well as a discussion around ESOS with a focus on the dangers of missing the forthcoming qualification deadline.
