Workplace Law cycle team smashes fundraising target

The 45 cyclists who formed the Workplace team that took part in the gruelling 60 mile ride from London to Cambridge earlier this year have accomplished an even bigger achievement than finishing the race by managing to far surpass the initial £2,000 fundraising target set for the event.

With all members working hard to secure sponsorship, the entire team collected a massive £4,628.23 in total. This money has been split between the charity of the event itself, Breakthrough Breast Cancer, and Workplace Law’s chosen charity, Exhall Grange Specialist School and Science College.

We have already received a letter of thanks from Breakthrough Breast Cancer and were also lucky enough to be invited to attend an assembly at Exhall Grange in which Gavin Bates, Workplace Law’s Online Community Manager, and Gary Jobson, Workplace Law’s Studio Manager, presented the school with a fundraising cheque and a framed photograph of the team at the event.

The money will go toward purchasing bikes for the school to make sure every pupil has the opportunity to experience the joy of cycling.
