Workplace Law Group to become specialist advisors to BIFM

Workplace Law Group has signed a new agreement to provide the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) with a wider range of legal support services. David Sharp, Managing Director of Workplace Law Group and Ian Fielder, Chief Executive Officer of the BIFM signed the agreement that cements the ongoing relationship between the two organisations and appoints Workplace Law Group as “specialist advisor to the BIFM on employment law, health and safety and premises management.”

Workplace Law Group will continue to provide BIFM members with a dedicated weekly e-bulletin, providing up-to-date news and case law for facilities managers. BIFM members will continue to save 10% on Workplace Law Group’s products and services and will soon be able to sign-up as members of the Workplace Law Network at discounted rates (for more information call 0870 777 8881).

Workplace Law will now provide HR and health and safety support to the Institute itself, including reviewing employment contracts, drafting policies and undertaking regular independent audits. This will include regular contributions to the BIFM’s flagship magazine, FM World from Workplace Law’s team of dedicated lawyers, consultants and industry experts.

Ian Fielder, Chief Executive Officer of the BIFM commented:
