Workplace Law to deliver CIPD accredited courses in London

Workplace Law Training has been awarded approval to deliver accredited HR training courses in central London from March 2009 onwards.

Workplace Law Training has run both the Certificate in Personnel Practice (CPP) and the Certificate in Employment Relations, Law and Practice (CERLAP) since March 2007, and is delighted to add central London as its latest approved training centre.

The fast-track courses take only 22 weeks to complete. A combination of e-learning and intensive classroom study in Cambridge or London leaves students free to study when they want, but with plenty of opportunity to interact with our expert tutors and fellow students during two residential sessions.

The CPP course is the country’s most popular HR qualification, leading to Associate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). It’s ideal for anyone managing people, or as the start of a professional career in human resources.

The Certificate in Employment Relations Law and Practice is designed to give students a comprehensive introduction to the legal framework that underpins effective HR management. The course is perfect for those involved in human resources and for senior management who have responsibility for HR issues.

Both courses combine the speed and flexibility of e-learning with the quality tutor contact time of traditional classroom learning. Premium members of the Workplace Law Network and the CIPD save 10% on course fees, as well as six months FREE membership of the Workplace Law Network and a brand new copy of the Workplace Law Handbook 2009 - Worth over £230.00!

Student feedback has been excellent. Chris Dobson, HR Manager at DBD Kitchen Products commented:

“The CPP course run by Workplace Law was an excellent way of obtaining an HR qualification in a short period of time. Although intensive, it was conducted in a professional yet relaxed and enthusiastic style.

"The tutors were extremely knowledgeable in their fields and were always available to assist the students. They conducted the two residential blocks in a way that helped all of us to grasp the practical elements of the course.

"The course was well organised, enjoyable and Workplace Law provides excellent support to help apply the skills learnt. I would recommend this course to anyone interested in starting a career in HR.”

Anne MacKenzie, Personnel Administration Manager at RSPB Sales shared Chris’s enthusiasm:

Very professional company with a well designed course. I found the course content and layout was straightforward and easy to follow.

“The tutors were excellent and supportive and very clear about the workload and what they expected from us. The feedback and results were received ahead of my expectations and were constructive and helpful.

“Having never studied since I left school 25 years ago and juggling work and family commitments I found the timetable provided was very useful in planning workload and study time and e learning perfect to fit in with everything.”
