Workplace Law Magazine at the PPA awards 2005

Workplace Law Magazine was highly commended by the judges at last night’s Periodical Publishers Association (PPA) Awards.

Members of the Workplace Law Network attended the prestigious ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, where the PPA Magazines 2005 Awards for editorial and publishing excellence were presented.

Workplace Law Magazine was nominated in the Interactive business and professional magazine of the year category. With over 900 entries for this year’s awards, Workplace Law Magazine was just one of six publications shortlisted for the category.

Judges were looking for excellence in the development of an interactive product by a magazine publisher – taking account of content, interactivity with online information and leverage of the brand within the market.

Although Workplace Law Magazine did not walk away with the prestigious first prize this year, Kelly Mansfield, Editor of the magazine, was very upbeat about the nomination and the special commendation received from the judges on the night.

“This is a huge achievement for everyone at Workplace Law and a testament to all of the hard work that has been put in since the launch of the magazine, just last October. We’re extremely proud of what we’ve achieved in developing both the magazine and our new website, and plan to continue to improve both of these services for our members. Watch this space for next year’s awards!”
