Workplace Law sponsors international rugby in Cambridge

Workplace Law Group has just been announced as the official match sponsor of the forthcoming CU RUFC v Samoa match, taking place at 7pm on Friday, 11 November at Grange Road in Cambridge.

The occasion is a very special one in the University rugby calendar, promising Friday night action of the highest quality as the Samoans bring their test team to Cambridge in a last-minute warm up for their internationals against Scotland and England later on in the month.

Commenting on the international fixture, Managing Director David Sharp was delighted at the news:

“It’s not everyday that you get the chance to sponsor an international rugby match in Cambridge, so when we heard the Samoans were visiting we jumped at the chance to get involved. Workplace Law works with several of the Cambridge colleges and will naturally be supporting the CU RUFC boys on the day. I’m certain that it will be a great test for the Samoans before they go on to play Scotland and England and that the match will be a great spectacle for local fans on the night.”

Another person clearly happy with the prospect of the game is Ian Minto, manager of CURUFC:

"We are extremely happy to be hosting this game and the players will relish the opportunity of competing against international opponents. The match should provide Cambridge Rugby aficionados with an exciting and entertaining Friday night out. I am expecting a large crowd and a great atmosphere."
