Workplace Law to host networking hub at the Facilities Show

The Facilities Show 2013 takes place from 14-16 May and is set to experience another phenomenal year with more exhibitors, visitors, interactive sessions, learning and networking opportunities than ever before.

Taking place at Birmingham’s NEC, Workplace Law will be hosting a networking hub on Tuesday 14 May at 2.00pm.

Workplace Law’s Head of Environment, Peter Watts, will be hosting the special research session and if you are a senior professional working in the fields of facilities management, estate management, property management and procurement, this is an unmissable opportunity for networking with top tier management, and to help shape the future of a greener FM industry.

In recent months research carried out by bodies including BIFM and WRAP has highlighted the importance of integrating sustainability into Facilities Management - from reducing resource consumption to getting buy-in and managing the expectations of stakeholders. But what are the barriers that are stopping this from happening?

Workplace Law is currently undertaking a major environmental initiative entitled 'Smart Steps to Sustainable FM', which is examining some of these barriers and will share and build upon the experience of participants to look at means of overcoming these.

Over the next few months we'll be holding workshops and undertaking extensive research to look into the issue, and we want your views!

If you'd like to attend our session at the BIFM Networking Hub, there are two ways to book your place:

We are also currently undertaking research for the Think FM Conference on 10 June 2013, and would appreciate your responses to our extensive research programme focusing on leadership.
