A partnership approach to health and safety

As the shortlist for the SHP IOSH awards 2012 is unveiled, Workplace Law is proud to announce the sponsorship of the ‘Partnership Initiative of the Year’ award, for the second year running.

The awards acknowledge individuals or organisations that have made significant contributions to promote good health and safety practice, with the awards evening taking place on 18 October in London.

Last year the award went to Saint-Gobain PAM UK, a leading international materials company, supply chain solutions provider Wincanton, and haulage company, Gundel Transport, for their collaboration to improve health and safety in the logistics of their businesses.  Simon Toseland, Head of Health and Safety at Workplace Law, presented the award, and comments:

“Workplace Law are delighted to be sponsoring the ‘Partnership Initiative of the Year’ award for the second consecutive year. ‘Partnership’ for us means not only having a thorough knowledge of our service sectors and the specific challenges within it, but truly understanding our clients’ project objectives and corporate values. Having this awareness is essential in order to inspire innovation and excellence.”
