Asset Information to Merge with Workplacelaw Network
Specialist FM publisher Asset Information – best known for the Facilities Management Legal Update journal– is to merge with the Workplacelaw Network to form a new company providing a wide range of traditional and electronic publications for workplace managers. The combined operation will be known as the Workplacelaw Network.
The Workplacelaw Network was launched in September 2001. Following a very successful market entry, the brand has rapidly become established as the UK’s leading source of legal and practical information on workplace issues for employers.
The Workplacelaw Network has attracted thousands of members in its first four months. Corporate members include Abbey National, Emcor Facilities Services, KPMG and RICS.
Merging the traditional printed publications of Asset Information with the potential of the Workplacelaw Network brand creates a new opportunity to provide customers with information in a variety of formats. Publications such as Facilities Management Legal Update will now receive an additional boost from the new company.
Managing Director David Sharp comments:
“The online nature of the Workplacelaw Network allows us to deliver information that is much more up-to-date, and means that we can actually answer specific legal queries coming from our members. We will continue to grow our successful FM publications and conferences, but we think we can do this better under the Workplacelaw Network brand.”
