Awards success for Workplace Law clients

Over 1,000 facilities managers and their guests attended the BIFM awards at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London this week. The annual event, hosted this year by celebrity Mylene Klass, recognises the best individuals and teams within the facilities management profession.

Workplace Law clients enjoying success at the awards included Babcock, GlaxoSmithKline and MITIE, while Incentive Facilities Management picked up the award for ‘Property Investors Excellence in FM Team’. Workplace Law has enjoyed a long collaboration with Incentive, providing employment law and HR support to the senior management team for a number of years.

Channel 4’s Julie Kortens won the prestigious ’Facilities Manager of the Year’ award for her work in the sector, including her contribution to the BIFM’s People Management Special Interest Group, chaired by Workplace Law’s own Ali Moran.

Workplace Law Managing Director David Sharp, present at the Awards Dinner, commented: “It was a pleasure to see so many of our clients and colleagues doing so well at the awards. The country may well be in recession, but the attendance and quality of the award winners demonstrates that FM is very much alive and kicking.“
