Workplace Law H&S expert achieves prestigious approval

Simon Toseland, Head of Health and Safety at Workplace Law Group has achieved registration on the Association for Project Safety approved list of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 (CDM) coordinators.


The Association for Project Safety (APS) is a multi-disciplinary membership body for those who operate in, or have an interest in, Health and Safety Risk Management in the Construction Industry. APS membership includes the country’s leading architectural, engineering, surveying, project management and health and safety professionals.


Explains Simon Toseland: “This is a prestigious body to belong to and is recognised in the CDM Approved Code of Practice as a means of demonstrating competence.


“Under the CDM Approved Code of Practice (ACoP), the key ingredients which make up an individual’s or organisations competence are having the necessary knowledge and experience appropriate to fulfil their duties. In addition a competent individual should be adequately trained and have an appreciation of their own limitations and constraints.”
