WorldSkills Conference 2017 addresses skills gap
The WorldSkills Conference 2017 is taking place in Abu Dhabi later this month, where it will address some of the major themes facing employers as a results of dramatic changes in the way we learn, live and work.
The agenda includes sessions on the globalization of skills and careers in an increasingly digitised world; the mismatch between jobs and skills; the increased mobility of the labour force and constraints of existing qualifications; and strategies to combat gender inequality. A session on the Jobs and Skills Mismatch – organised in partnership with the International Labor Organisation (ILO) – presents new research on this topic and will be of interest to human resources professionals everywhere.
The conference is being held at ADNEC Abu Dhabi, from 16-17 October 2017. More information and online registration is available from the conference website.
